After Friday, when it was expected that the GMA's StepDown cries would build up into something close to EDSA 1, 2 or 3, nothing close to that sort happened . Pinoys seemed to have grown weary of EDSAs. And who wouldn't be? What changed after all --- the sheeps' clothings only?
Life goes on for the pliant Pinoys, whether it is hard, doubly hard, or simply unbearable. Aid doesn't trickle from the sector that is supposed to be doing its job efficiently, if only to justify its existence for being. Talk about the "Para Sa Masa" intentions --- all these are mere lip service.
If lessons are to be learned, perhaps these could only be learned through a bloody revolution. Probably, there is really a time when certain things could be put in order by force, though I am not advocating this idea completely. The Philippines remains unprepared for this turn of event, if ever.
